The artwork created for Fondazione Elpis, on the occasion of the exhibition “Dove non sono mai stato, là sono” is the result of an immersion in the archive of Una Boccata d’Arte and of a work of analysis and synthesis.
The installation is on two levels: 100 maps reconstruct the geography of the villages and 100 photographs tell the story of the encounter between art, villages and the public. Working together as a system, the two groups of images give rise to one of the possible atlases of Una Boccata d’Arte.
This system is developed in a numbering from 1 to 100 divided into 5 colors, one for each edition (2020-2024). Each map is marked with a colored and numbered label, which links it to the photograph of the corresponding work, highlighted by the same number and color. All references are collected in a pamphlet summarizing the entire project.
