Sibillina
Sibillina is the book that accompanies the artwork of the same name created by Caterina Morigi for the village of San Ginesio on the occasion of Una Boccata d’Arte, an art initiative promoted by Fondazione Elpis. The artist explored the village, noting in a sketchbook the forms and signs belonging to cultural sites in the area that became inaccessible after the 2016 earthquake, reworking them and presenting them again in a contemporary “altarpiece” made of graniglia. The book, printed in 7-color risograph, retraces this “treasure hunt” of symbols and reveals the artist’s research process, bringing it into a playful dimension.
