Viaggio in Italia
Viaggio in Italia is a project curated by Home Movies — Archivio Nazionale dei Film di Famiglia and the association 24FPS. The project explores and reinterprets the stories and images found in the archival films of the Memoryscapes platform, which contains more than 3,000 reels shot by Italian amateur filmmakers between the 1920s and the 1980s.
The design project created for Viaggio in Italia includes the development of the visual identity and all communication materials, as well as graphic design and risograph printing of a series of limited-edition postcards and two illustrated books.

The two illustrated editions were created in collaboration with author Alessia Tzimas, during a series of meetings and workshops organized with the students of Liceo A. Sanvitale in Parma, as part of an educational project curated by Milo Adami and Michele Belmessieri (24FPS).
The goal of the project was to open a dialogue with the stories, lifestyles, and cultural transformations that preceded us, through the creative reuse of home movies — whose content and visual suggestions became the narrative and visual material for the two publications.
